We wrapped up 2023 supporting several organizations and efforts that are near and dear to our work and hearts. At SDG, we believe that community is the building block of successful businesses. The health of every future workforce depends on what we do to make a difference for the youth of today.
Corporate social responsibility is at the core of our business culture. We support organizations that enhance quality of life so that they have access to the tools they need to compete and succeed in tomorrow’s workforce.
- Greenville Tech Foundation ($14,500) supporting scholarships for students in advanced manufacturing programs.
- South Carolina Economics ($3,500) providing teachers with the training, resources, and support to help them implement economics and personal finance in their classroom. SDG also hosts an annual educators’ tour of a client facility to learn about job opportunities and paths to success for today’s high school students.
- Breast Cancer Research Foundation ($1,250) supporting research to treat and prevent breast cancer.
- Zach McKay ($1,000) supporting our economic development colleague after a tragic and life altering accident. We are cheering for you. Walk for Zach!
- World Central Kitchen ($1,000) provides fresh meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises.
- Edventure Children’s Museum ($5,000) supporting learning and growth for children in the southeast through fully immersive experience of hands-on interactives, problem-solving, and imaginative discoveries.
